North Forest Austin Team
Brendan started in the real estate development and construction field at an early age. He grew up working weekends and summers with his father, Roy Jordan, the founder of North Forest. He saw first-hand that success can be achieved by hard work and continuous learning.
Brendan attended St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management in 2006. His passion for a career in development led Brendan to officially join the North Forest team out of the Buffalo, NY office.
In 2007, Brendan moved to Denver, CO to establish North Forest's newest operation. With this experience, it gave him the confidence to venture into his own market. In 2011, he established the North Forest team in Austin, TX. Brendan currently oversees North Forest's development, construction, leasing, and property management for the Austin area. Outside of North Forest he is a member of the YMBL (Young Men's Business League), a not for-profit benefiting the underprivileged youth in Austin. He and his wife Kristen have three young daughters who keep him on his toes!
Jesus became construction coordinator for North Forest's Austin market in January of 2016. He is responsible for handling construction tasks as well as scheduling and ordering materials.
As a graduate from Clarence High School, Meghan grew up spending her summers working some odd jobs for North Forest in the office and tending to the landscaping at several of North Forest's office developments. From a young age Meghan enjoyed the various day to day tasks that accompany working for a small business.
Meghan attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and was a member of the College's Sailing Team. Upon graduation in 2010, Meghan joined the North Forest Team in the corporate office as a sales and marketing assistant. Meghan supported the COO in corporate marketing initiates and over saw the various leasing representatives in several markets on local marketing strategy and implementation. Not before long Meghan also began supporting the Buffalo Offices leasing team on sales efforts.
Meghan was offered a position as the Leasing Manager in the newly expanded Austin market and she happily relocated to the area in July 2012 and has been responsible for all of the leasing activity in the Austin market for North Forest since. Meghan also holds her Texas Real Estate License and assists the area managers in land purchase transactions.In her spare time she enjoys renovating old homes with her sister Katie and getting outdoors!
Sharlee came to North Forest in July of 2014 to handle accounts payable and special projects for the Austin office. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M University and she was previously controller for Premier Research Labs for ten years. Additionally, Sharlee is the Owner/Coordinator for Spotlight Event Planning, which offers Wedding Day Of Coordination services for the Austin area.
Gina joined the North Forest team in May of 2015. She is responsible for the administrative aspects of the permitting and construction process, handling registration and licensing needs, fielding customer service requests, as well as general office duties and clerical support.
Taknisha Matthews joined North Forest in August of 2016, and enjoys helping business owners find and lease office space and developing ongoing relationships with these customers. Her responsibilities include executing local marketing plans, guiding customers through the leasing and construction of their office space, and ensuring that these processes run smoothly. Previously, she was Portfolio Assistant Manager / Marketing Manager for The Property Society in Austin, and before that she was Leasing Manager for Roscoe Properties in Pflugerville. Taknisha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a minor in marketing from the University of Memphis.
Emmanuel joined the North Forest team in February of 2017 as construction superintendent in Austin. He is responsible for project scheduling, procurement of material, quality control, project management and subcontractor relations. Previously, he was construction superintendent at Stackable & Associates. He has also worked as project manager at Buda Woodworks and lead carpenter at Isec, Inc. He is currently pursuing his associate degree in construction management at Austin Community College, and plans to attend Texas State University for his bachelor's degree. Emmanuel takes great pride in his work and loves the feeling of accomplishment when a project is completed.
Patrick Reilly joined North Forest as Maintenance and Construction Coordinator in June of 2016. He is responsible for tracking, scheduling and performing routine building and park maintenance, managing service request communications with customers, performing repairs, and assisting the construction team. Previously, he worked in building renovation and restoration with Burbank Construction in Providence, RI. He is enjoying the opportunity to expand his skills with experience in new construction at North Forest Office Space.
Roy came to North Forest in April of 2016 to manage construction in the Austin market. His primary goal is to safely and cost effectively deliver new office space for the North Forest portfolio in Austin on time and in perfect condition. To achieve this goal, he works with the construction team and sources and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationships.
