Roy A. Jordan, Jr. first became involved with real estate in 1976, when he purchased and managed residential, multifamily homes. In 1979, he ventured into rehabilitating commercial real estate and then began developing and constructing retail plazas in Cheektowaga, Tonawanda and Amherst, NY.
Roy Jordan founded North Forest Office Providers in 1982 and soon became involved in commercial office construction, mainly focusing on building office condominium parks in Buffalo NY. Roy shifted the company's core business from condominium office parks to lease only office parks in 2000, and in 2004 he led the company into the Rochester NY market. The company's success in both Rochester and Buffalo prompted Roy to look to markets outside of New York State. In 2006 the company opened a branch office in Denver, Colorado, and in 2008 they broke ground on the first of two office parks in the Denver metro area.
With more than two decades of experience in building, leasing, and managing commercial office parks, Roy is the prime reason why North Forest has become a leading provider of upscale office space for small to medium sized businesses throughout Austin, Buffalo, Dallas, Denver and Rochester.
Mike Blemel joined North Forest in October of 2015. He is responsible for overseeing corporate finance, accounting, financing reporting and administration. Previously, Mike was director of finance at Niacet Corporation for nine years. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and a certified public accountant. Mike is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs.
Jennifer Busch started with North Forest in October of 2009 as administrative assistant. In 2014 she was promoted to human resources and office administrator, and in 2015 she took on her current role. She is responsible for guiding the mortgage process from building development to closing, and for mortgage, risk management and legal administration activities. Before coming to North Forest, Jennifer was office manager and project coordinator at Hurtado Consulting Group in Englewood, Colorado.
Donna Ciulis joined North Forest in June of 2015 with 25 years of previous experience in developing, implementing and directing human resource policy. She manages all aspects of human resources for North Forest, including company policies, organizational development and training, benefit and payroll administration, safety, recruiting and onboarding of new employees. Before she came to North Forest, Donna was human resources manager at Costanzo's Bakery. She has also managed human resources for Bird Technologies Group, Z-Tech Inc. at Gowanda Electronics Corp, and Harmac Medical Products. Donna has a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Ben Demmer joined North Forest as an IT intern in 2013, where he learned the internal processes and enhanced his development skills as he worked to make company systems more efficient. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University at Buffalo in 2014. In June of 2014, he was promoted to his current position of software engineer. Ben is responsible for the development of software systems for the company. This involves researching, designing, and developing, as well as conferring with employees, studying their work flow and discussing their needs. He then proposes solutions and implements them into the system. Ben must have an understanding of the latest technologies and frameworks to enable him to adapt to changing needs.
Cheri Forsythe started as marketing coordinator at North Forest in December, 2013. Previously, she was director of marketing at Tanning Bed, Inc., where she was responsible for advertising, marketing, promotions and public relations as the company grew and expanded into new markets. Cheri has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/mass communication from St. Bonaventure University, and over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. She is responsible for corporate marketing initiatives at North Forest, as well as providing advertising and marketing assistance to the local markets.
Jordan Leitten joined North Forest in September of 2016. He is responsible for managing IT software, hardware and infrastructure needs for the company. He also provides technical assistance and input to project teams, and IT help desk support. Previously, Jordan worked at the University of Rochester as an enterprise computing operations analyst. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in network administration from Alfred State College.
Larry Miceli has been with North Forest Office Space since February of 2008. He is responsible for managing the accounting department personnel, as well as cash management, monthly closing, audit preparation, and general department management. He has previously held the position of controller at various other organizations. Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Canisius College and a Master's of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Samantha Thompson joined North Forest in June of 2014. She assists with all aspects of office administration for the North Forest corporate team, serving markets in Buffalo and Rochester New York, Denver, Colorado and Austin and Dallas, Texas. Previously, she was construction materials testing secretary at SJB Services.
Cheryl Zelasko came to North Forest in May of 2016. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has ten years of experience in the non-profit sector. Her responsibilities include maintaining customer transactions, the application of cash receipts, managing utility accounts, general ledger reconciliations, compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries, documenting business transactions and preparing reports.
